新設定、新画像、新ストーリーの4部作としてスクリーンに復活する「ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版」その第一弾として9/1より全国公開となる『ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版：序』のテーマソングとして、宇多田ヒカルの新曲「Beautiful World」が決定致しました。
「Beautiful World」は8月29日にシングルＣＤとして発売されます。さらには、1999年に発売されたシングル「Wait & See ～リスク～」に収録された「Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words)」を新たにMIXし、「Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) -2007 MIX-」として収録が決定。
TV版エヴァンゲリオンではエンディングとしておなじみの楽曲だけに、エヴァファンにはたまらない内容になっています！
ホエ。Fly Me To The Moonはジャスの有名なナンバーの一つ。残酷な天使のテーゼのC/Wとしても収録されている。※エヴァのエンディングで使用。
